{Three} ~ Instagram Loving

I love Instagram.  “Social Fad” is a term pretty widely used to describe the app, but my opinion of it strays pretty far from it.  It is used to flaunt the perks of fun and social living, but I honestly feel like it is sometimes my most creative outlet.  My Instagram page is a dictionary of my artistic style, probably more so than my Facebook, Website, or Blog.  Because it embraces my vision for love of everyday beauty.  I love my camera and the crystal clearness it gives me in my images.  But it is so much fun to compete with its perfection using a smart phone.  It is pretty easy to take a low quality image with a phone.  But I realize that when I am using my phone, I am much more aware of how to make a stand-alone image stunning {with lighting, color theory, shape and overall composition}.  My mind works in terms of composing everyday beauty into pictures, so everywhere I go I see art.  I cannot always have my camera bag around my shoulder, but I always have a phone.  And it is so much more fun when you feel like you’ve given the world a chance to be seen as gorgeous through your simple little smart phone.  Try it out.  Don’t just snap – think about background color and lighting, softness and flow.  Broaden your creativity with that little thing you always have in your pocket and give us a chance to see the world trough your eyes.
